Sonu Nigam, the best in India
Sonu Nigam is probably one of the best playback singers to have come out of the industry in recent years. Not only does he sings well, he is also a true performer and this time it the people of Johannesburg who were lucky to hear him and see his mind blowing performance. The Latin sentence ‘Veni , Vidi, Vici’ proved true for Sonu Nigam when he performed on stage in Johannesburg, South Africa. With his electrifying performance at the Gallagher Estate in Midrand, Sonu ended his three-city tour of South Africa. On Sunday, Sonu rocked the stage. On Durban, he played the previous night and a week earlier he had performed in Cape Town.
This was Sonu’s fourth visit in South Africa and this reinvented Sonu performed here after a gap pf four years. Sonu has always remained ahead in this competition, say, for example singing, changing his hairstyle or eye colour through contact lenses, or trying to break into the American English music market. Sonu does a wide range of variations in his popular Bollywood songs through innovative use of sound and visual techniques. The songs where he has given his voice for Sharh Rukh Khan and Salman Khan dominated his performance on Sunday. He sang songs form movies starting form ‘Kal Ho Na Ho’ to ‘Om Shanti Om’. Gunjan Singh sang two songs as did Sonu’s father who sang some classics. Sonu with his amazing stage personality set the stage on fire. Over the years Sonu has evolved as a true performer and entertainer of India.
