Salman is finally WAXED

Bollywood 20/01/2008

Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Shah Rukh Khan; now it’s the turn of Bollywood muscle man Salman Khan to be immortalized by the famous Madame Tussauds. It was after the hard work of twelve weeks, that the wax statue of the bollywood heartthrob was unveiled on January 15th and to grace the situation the man himself was present, flanked by his family and girlfriend, Katrina Kaif. The special wax and silicon-like material used in sculpting Salman’s model have given an ace finish to the star’s replica, especially highlighting his six-pack abs and biceps.

Salman claims to have been “amassed” by this honor, more so, because he proved to be the most popular among other veterans like Madhuri Dixit, Lata Mangeshkar and even contemporary hunks like Hrithik Roshan, Abhishek Bachan, Akshay Kumar, and John Abraham. The public poll conducted around last year August was a clear indication that even though Salman isn’t much liked by the rare animals, he is a sure hit among his fans. But the fans will be slightly disheartened to know that they will have to miss the bare-bodied figure of the cool dude.

It all started with the Big B in 2000, followed by the world famous beauty, Ash in 2004. Then came King Khan in 2007; and finally macho man Salman has made it to the Tussauds, giving Indian celebrities an international hike.
