Skin care tips for teens
Skin care is very important. For smooth and soft skin, follow these tips, and you will not go wrong.
Always remove makeup before going to sleep. Mascara, kajal, powder or bronzer can clump together to get deposited in the pores of the skin, and this isn’t good at all. Remember to remove makeup with cleansing milk last thing at night. Teens actually should avoid makeup.
Always wear sunscreen with high SPF when stepping out in the sun. It’s a must in summer, and sometimes in winter too.
Moisturize after a bath, for a smooth feel. You may even add a few drops of oil (rosemary, olive) to your bathwater. Patting talcum powder is also necessary.
Don’t pop pimples- it may be tempting, but popping pimples can push the infection deeper into the skin, scarring you.
Wear loose cotton clothing in summer- this will allow your skin to breathe.
Face-packs are a must. Add ingredients like chilled milk, mashed ripe papaya or banana, honey, grated tomato, potato, and curd to get rid of problems like tan, rough skin, or dead skin.
Always be sure never to rub yourself vigorously with a towel after a shower, as this dries the skin thoroughly. However, patting dry is a good idea- it leaves the moisture in.
Once a week, use a fruit-based scrub, rub gently over your cheeks and forehead, to cleanse your skin of impurities, blackheads and blemishes, and to remove dead cells.
Follow these simple tips, and there you glow!
