Amitabh set to return to TV
Superstar Amitabh Bachchan is all set to make a comeback to television after the roaring success of his innings on game show Kaun Banega Crorepati .
“Yes, I’m definitely doing television again. Talks are on with several channels. And I plan to take up one or maybe even more of these offers very shortly,” Amitabh said.
Asked whether it would be a game show, the actor laughed and said: “It’s too early to say right now. It could be another non-fictional show. But I’m not ruling out fiction either. I’ve a whole lot of proposals from a whole bunch of channels. The offers are under serious consideration.”
The Big B is still excited about the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards held in Yorkshire last month.
“It was the best IIFA to date. There were great forums for business opportunities and charitable events for the needy. There were a large number of tie-ups for social causes like global warming. On top of that I got an honorary recognition. Wow!”
He added: “The crowds at Yorskhire were sensational.
“The best part of the whole experience was the absolute joy of being with my entire family. Nothing can beat that.”
