Fashion TV is an international channel dedicated solely to international fashion, designers and the modelling industry. It had originated in France in the year 1997. The President of Fashion TV, Michel Adam Liswoski was the brain behind the move. It gained immense and instant popularity among international viewers. The channel has a thick viewer following all over the globe. 300 million households have access to the channel in over 202 countries, which is no mean feat to achieve by any channel of international standards.
Fashion TV broadcasts clips and programs based on the modeling industry, fashion events, special events and award ceremonies et al. the include programs such as :-

· F Party
· F People
· Fashion Bars
· Fashion and Movies
· Lingerie
· Model’s Talk
· F Men (this has now become a different channel altogether)
There are several other shows that aired from time to time. There are also season and feature specials that spruce up the variety of programs served on Fashion TV. It has also acquired a luxury cruise and refitted it. It has been renamed to F Diamond, after the channel’s logo, and is often featured in special programs.
In India and some other countries, it has often based bans and protests against its broadcasts due to allegations of presence of obscenity and nudity in its programs.
Nevertheless, today, Fashion TV, or FTV as it is casually called by its viewers, is a landmark achievement in the world of international fashion and television alike.
