Kareena and Shahid back one last time

Bollywood 28/04/2008

The much waited film ‘Milenge Milenge’ is finally ready for release. The film, which stars Bollywood film stars Kareena Kapoor and Sahid Kapur, has seen a lot of things, from the peak of affair between Kareena-Sahid, to their recent break up. The movie is being produced by the famous film maker Boney Kapoor. ‘Milenge Milenge’ took almost two years to complete. Since their break up happened post release of ‘Jab We Met’ and it proved to be quite favorable for the movie’s business, Boney wants to take this perfect opportunity to cash in on ‘Milenge Milenge’. This will be the last film where both Kareena and Sahid have appeared together. It is heard that for the dubbing the film, Boney has been chasing his dream pair for months and finally the wait is over as both the actors have agreed for dubbing. While Sahid has already started dubbing and Kareena will join him as soon as she returns from abroad. The film is the Hindi version of ‘Serendipity’ directed by Peter Chelsom. The English version was done by Kate Beckinsale and John Cusack. In the English version, the couple met at a Christmas’ shopping place and they immediately got attracted towards each other but they were committed elsewhere. The director of the Hindi version , Satish Kaushik has agreed of having similarities with the English counterpart. He even points out that the film has nothing to do with reincarnation as the name suggests. It will be interesting to find out how the audience will react to this probably last film of Kareena and Sahid pairing.
