Plastic pollution is one of the tragedies of modern technology. We use plastic products everyday of our lives in some form or the other, be it in bottles, containers or bags. The recent increase in pollution levels across the world has led good sense to prevail and recycling. A study estimated that for every square mile of ocean there are about 46,000 seperate pieces of plastic waste floating around on the surface. It turns out that the hormonelike chemicals in plastic may remodel our cells and tissue during key stages of development, both in the womb and in early childhood. So, we should try to avoid plastic or use plastic that can be recycled. HDPE or High Density Polyethylene can be recycled for reuse.
